Today I tried Rosa rugosa #rose hip. At this time of year the rugosa rose fruit is red and ripe for the taking and absolutely delicious! Packed full of bioflavonoids and vitamins. There isn’t much to eat, just a thin layer of flesh within the hypanthium, protectively surrounding the seed containing achenes
